As first responders, we must remember the rescue guideline: Self-Rescue, Reach, Throw, Row, Go. The self-rescue, reaching phase of this principle, has been integrated into the design of this unique mitigating device for high-risk situations with the specialized rescue end of the sled. The IRSS is available in three different kit options, all including the IRSS Sled, a Cold-Water Rescue Sling, and an Ice Rescue Reel.
