Kit comes with all metal parts and hardware for a dual door setup. You must locally source or make a solid core door, 2-6x6s and a 12x2x10.
The process to put together the kit is very simple, and the cost for this door is FAR under all other commercially available props.
Some of the features include a heavy duty base that can be bolted to an acquired structure or placed on wooden boards for station use. Two lock sets allow you to put the pressure on as members gain confidence, and T handle bolts that eliminate the need to constantly be wedging your 1×2 strips in the lock every rep.
We are constantly improving every detail. Most recently we moved from a bent angle on the door lock assembly in favor of an actual cut and welded seam. This means a tighter fit for a realistic gap for your irons work. Our door hinges use a separate backer plate and the included hardware is through bolted instead of using lags for a tight fit that will last thousands of reps in the door you mount up.
We are starting to get requests for the lock, hinge, and jamb sets without the base or top, for departments that already own training buildings and want to install these in the existing door frames. We can definitely accommodate those custom orders and look forward to working with you!
